Blakeney is a historic village that was once a busy mediaeval port famous for shipping, wool trading, and fishing. In 1516, Henry VIII granted a charter to the Blakeney fish merchants' guild. Felbrigg Hall is an elegant country house with a rich history going back to the 11th century. Home to the de Felbrigg and Windham families, the estate includes a 17th-century house, wood and parkland, pastures, and a glorious walled garden. In September, periodeye will be walking 30 miles in support of @cr_uk "The most prominent of the English brick gatehouses of the 15th century"
